Cross country jumping was the highlight of the clinic for me and Cecil. All that trailriding in his youth paid off - he's brave about everything! As I rode this gymnastic David, the clinician, was heard to say to the other riders, "see that? it takes GOOD riding to get that kind of footwork." We were jumping a vertical, then 3 strides to up the bank, then 2 strides to another vertical. Then we did the same thing in the other direction.
Cecil grew up to be a great eventing horse!
