German Wirehaired Pointer, 4 years, Black, close up and he already has gray hairs

I found this picture of a German Wirehaired Pointer online. Looks just like Nase, but it's hard to get a picture of Nase this good with my little camera phone. So I don't know, mutt or obscure hunting breed?
