Tally, the newest addition to our herd, has spent the last day or so in the house with us and Miles, since it has been terribly cold outside. Outdoors she makes Miles look like a couch potato, but inside she is calm, quiet, and relaxed. She desperately wants to sleep on furniture, especially if I'm already on it she wants to snuggle. But we have the strict "no dogs on the couch/bed/etc" rule and so she has to make do with the dog blanket. We lost Molly this week, she had breathing problems that weren't correctable without a major surgery, so we had to say goodbye to our 12 year old sweetheart. Having Miles and Tally in the house when it's so cold out has helped me adjust to a very lonely living room without my old girls. No, we don't know what breed Tally is, we've had guesses for Basenji (she yodels), basset hound (hound dog howl, big feet, major thigh and shoulder muscles, and long body), staffordshire terrier (similar face and ears) border collie (color pattern is right and naturally comes by herding skills), beagle (energy level matches and shape of eyes). Any other guesses?

Sorry to hear about Molly. I can't help but think she's reunited with Kia. Now it's Miles and Tally who are the lucky ones!
