I've had this mare in training here for a few months. We've been working on western dressage and trail riding, but she's bred to work cows. I was able to go to a neighbor's a bit east of here to try her on his cattle on Friday night. She wasn't afraid of them, just didn't know what to do with them. I'm not well versed in cattle work, either, so it was kind of a steep learning curve for both of us. We tried really hard, though, and now we can say she's pretty cowy.
