When Whitney and Jan (my childhood best friend and her husband) came to visit we attempted a perfect day: including hiking, lunch at a favorite Italian restaurant, and ice cream at a favorite local place. We hiked at Red Mountain Open Space, and we saw bunnies, antelope, and of course lots of free range cattle.
